The heliski season is from last week of February to the first week of April, with March being the heart of the season. All the heliski weeks, other then our two week trips, are Saturday to Saturday. A typical heliski week arrives Kathmandu Saturday where you rest and relax from the flight. We fly out Sunday from Kathmandu to Pokhara which is the area of operation. We check you into the hotel you’ll stay at for the week, and then go through an orientation with the guides, fit skis, etc. We ski Monday through Friday using Saturday as a back up day if needed, even if we use Saturday for a make up day, we are still back in Kathmandu, Saturday afternoon. All the major airlines fly back to Europe and other foreign destinations in the evening which means you’ll be able to fly back home Saturday evening.
