Each country has different rules for managing the pandemic. Let’s see some of them together to orient ourselves (with a focus on trips from Switzerland).

Let’s say it right away: don’t worry, we will continue to help you choose the best and safest destination for your travels. Our “consulting” work does not stop. We will take care of everything, we will help you to carry out any bureaucratic duties, covid test and more. Having said that, below you will find some current rules of some countries that can help you guide your choices.

Italy
For those who want to enter Italy from Switzerland there is no longer a quarantine. To travel to the Bel Paese it will be necessary to have a negative molecular or antigen test carried out in the previous 48 hours. Those who do not present the results of the swab will have to carry out a 10-day quarantine and a swab at the end of the isolation. There are currently no exceptions for those who are vaccinated or cured of Covid.

Spain
Entry into Spain is allowed from all European countries and countries belonging to the Schengen area, without quarantine obligation. There is an obligation to submit a negative molecular test carried out within 72 hours prior to entry. Rapid tests are not allowed.

Greece
In Greece, passengers residing in EU countries, the Schengen area, the United Kingdom, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Serbia and Israel must have a negative molecular test, carried out in the previous 72 hours, at the time of entry into the country. upon arrival, or – alternatively – a vaccination certificate. For the other passengers, the 7-day quarantine continues. Those arriving in Greece can also be subjected to a sample test, which is mandatory. If the outcome is positive, he will have to carry out a 14-day quarantine in a covid hotel.

France
France strongly advises against traveling to its territory during this period. All those who still want to go to the country (with the exception of children under 11) must show a negative molecular test carried out in the previous 72 hours and fill out a self-certification.

Germany
In Germany, anyone entering the country must show documentation before boarding that proves that they are vaccinated (with both doses or one if they have had Covid), cured or have tested negative for a molecular or antigenic swab performed within 48 hours previous. This obligation does not apply to children under 6 years of age.

UK
Incoming travelers are required to fulfill four requirements: to have a negative test carried out 72 hours before departure; fill in an online form (“travel locator form”) in the two days prior to departure in which address and telephone number must be provided; carry out a 10-day quarantine, which is reduced to 5 if you arrive from a country not included in the black list and make a paid swab; carry out 2 covid tests on the second and eighth day of isolation, to be booked and paid for before entering the country at a cost of 210 pounds.

United States
Last but not least, the situation is complicated for those who want to visit the United States: entry into the country is forbidden for travelers who, in the previous 14 days, have been in a country of the Schengen area, in the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, China, Brazil or Iran.
